**** Manjari Nehru Kaul, J.(Oral) Instant petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.PC for quashing of case FIR No.01 dated 04.03.2020 (Annexure P-1) registered under Sections 498-A, 420 and 120-B IPC (Sections 465, 468, 471 IPC added later on) at Police Station NRI, District SBS Nagar and all the consequential proceedings arising therefrom.

At the outset, when a query was put to learned counsel as to what was the stage of trial, this Court was apprised that investigation is still underway and report under Section 173 Cr.PC has not been filed before the Court concerned.

Since, the investigation is still underway, this Court would loathe to exercise its inherent jurisdiction under Section 482 Cr.PC to quash the FIR in question at the nascent stage itself. Accordingly, the present petition stands dismissed.
