The petitioner has approached this Court seeking grant of anticipatory bail in respect of a case registered against him vide FIR No.232, dated 18.10.2021, Police Station Rama Mandi, Jalandhar, under Sections 323, 382, 506, 148, 149 IPC.

At the time of issuance of notice of motion the following order was passed on 29.11.2021:

"Counsel for the petitioner herein would contend that the genesis of the dispute between the parties is regarding parking of the car on the road. It is argued that the alleged injuries are simple in nature and the custodial interrogation of the petitioner is not required.

Meanwhile, the petitioner is directed to join the investigation within a period of one week and on his doing so, in the event of arrest the petitioner be released on interim bail to the satisfaction of Arresting/Investigating Officer. However, the petitioner shall continue to join the investigation as and when called upon to do so and shall abide by the conditions as provided under Section 438 (2) Cr.P.C."

Learned State counsel, upon instructions from ASI Barjinder Kumar, has informed that pursuant to interim directions, the petitioner has joined investigation and is not required for custodial interrogation. 4.

Having regard to the aforestated position wherein the petitioner has joined investigation and is not required for any custodial interrogation, the petition is accepted and the interim directions issued by this Court vide order dated 29.11.2021 is hereby made absolute subject to the condition that the petitioner shall join investigation as and when called upon to do so and cooperate with the Investigating Officer and shall also abide by the conditions as provided under Section 438 (2) Cr.P.C.
