* * * * S.J. VAZIFDAR, C.J. (ORAL) The petitioner alleges that the bid of respondent No. 3 suffers from several defects enumerated in its letter dated 10.04.2018 (Annexure P-7). The petitioner apprehends that the official respondents will award the work to respondent No. 3 despite the same.

The petition is disposed of by directing the official respondents to award the work in favour of respondent No. 3 even if it is found to be the most competitive bidder only after considering the objections raised by the petitioner in its letter dated 10.04.2018 (Annexure P-7). The official respondents shall inform the petitioner of their decision in this regard immediately upon taking a decision.
