The present Criminal Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of directions to the official respondents to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner at the hands of respondents No.5 to 10.

Status report dated 02.10.2024, filed by way of an affidavit of Sh. Rahul Dev, HPS, Assistant Commissioner of Police, City Sonipat, on behalf of the respondent-State, is taken on record. 3.

As per the status report, it was found during the inquiry that there is a possibility of an altercation between the parties in future as well and as such, the SHO Police Station Civil Line, Sonipat, had been instructed to initiate protective action against the respondents. In view of the said instructions, a Kalendra under Sections 126/169, 126/170 BNSS, has been filed against the respondents No.5 to 10 vide DD No.13 dated 26.09.2024, Police Station Civil Lines Sonipat.

As per the status report, no action has been taken with regard to the injuries attributed to the respondents No.5 to 10. The petitioner is having an alternate equal efficacious remedy by way of approaching the Magistrate for redressal of his grievances.

In view of the above, the present petition is disposed of. 6.

However, the State would pursue the action in view of the DD No.13 dated 26.09.2024, Police Station Civil Lines Sonipat. 7.

Pending miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand disposed of.
