(Oral) The petitioners are seeking a direction to the respondents to consider and decide their representation for issuing Street Vendor License/Certificate of Vending under the Street Vendors (Protection of Livelihood and Regulation of Street Vending) Act 2014 and Union Territory of Chandigarh Street Vendors (Protection of Livelihood and Regulation of Street Vending), Rules 2015. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have sent representation on 02.06.2025 (Annxure P-5) but no action has been taken thereon.

Issue notice to the respondents.

At the asking of the Court, Mr. Sanjeev Ghai, Advocate accepts notice on behalf of the respondent No.2.

The petition is disposed of with the direction to respondent No.2 to consider and decide the representation of the petitioners within a period of four weeks from now.
