One of the primary arguments raised by learned counsel for the petitioner is that impugned order dated 25.06.2025 (Annexure P-9) is an absolutely non-speaking and cryptic order passed without any jurisdiction.

It is further informed that operation of notification dated 17.03.2025 empowering the Superintending Engineers, Drainage-cumMining, Punjab, has been stayed by Co-ordinate Bench of this Court vide order dated 29.07.2025 passed in CWP No.21086 of 2025. 3.

Learned counsel for the respondents, on the basis of communication dated 28.07.2025, which is taken on record subject to just YAG DUTT 2025.08.05 10:48 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment

CWP No.20535 of 2025 -2exceptions, submits that he has specific instructions to the effect that impugned order dated 25.06.2025 shall be withdrawn and a fresh speaking order shall be passed by the competent Authority in accordance with law after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner. 4.

Keeping in view the facts and circumstances as above including the specific statement made as above by learned counsel for the State, it is directed that necessary action be taken and fresh speaking order be passed expeditiously by the competent Authority in terms of the statement made before us.

Writ petition is disposed of accordingly.

It is clarified that there is no expression of opinion on the merits of matter.
