In the present petition, the petitioner is praying for issuance of a writ in the nature of Certiorari for quashing the order dated 19.05.2025 (Annexure P-11), whereby claim of the petitioner has been rejected holding that only respondent No.3 is entitled to grant compassionate appointment to the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions from the petitioner, submits that at this stage, he will be satisfied if a direction is given to respondent No.1 to treat the present writ petition as representation and decide the same, in a time bound manner.

In view of the above and without commenting upon the merits of the case, the present petition is hereby disposed of with a direction to respondent No.1 to treat the present writ petition as representation and decide the same, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order, in accordance with law. In event, the petitioner is held entitled for grant of relief as per the law as claimed in the writ petition, the same be also released within a period of one month thereafter.
