The present petition under Section 340 of the Code of Criminal Procedure has been filed for taking necessary legal action against the respondent, who being a public servant has filed false affidavit dated 24.03.2022 before this Court in CWP-17776-2020. 2.

Keeping in view the facts and circumstances of the case, as well as, the fact that the CWP-17776-2020 already stands disposed of by the Division Bench of this Court, vide order dated 28.04.2022, this Court does not find it appropriate to initiate any inquiry in terms of Section 340 CrPC. Accordingly, the present petition is dismissed. 3.

However, the petitioner would be at liberty to avail any other alternate remedy for redressal of his any other grievance, in accordance with law.
