Learned counsel would contend that the candidature of the petitioner has not been considered under the ESP (Sports) category, even though his entitlement to the sports gradation certificate is from the year 2010, when he participated in inter-state/national level tournament, therefore the issuance thereof with regard to the same but after the cut-off date cannot be taken against him. In this regard, a representation dated 11.07.2024, Annexure P-12, has been submitted however the same has yet not evoked any response. He thus, at this stage, on instructions, from the petitioner, prays that a direction is given to the respondents to decide the same in a time bound manner.

At the asking of the Court, Mr. Harish Nain, AAG, Haryana accepts notice on behalf of the respondent-State and has no objection to the limited prayer made.

In view of the above and without commenting upon the merits of the case, this petition is hereby disposed of with a direction to the respondents to decide the representation dated 11.07.2024, Annexure P-12 within a period HAMANT 2024.09.04 18:24 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this order/judgment

CWP-21085-2024 of 4 weeks, which this Court has no reason to believe the authorities would not address in a just, fair and reasonable manner. Upon doing so, after notice and hearing offered to him and if found entitled, grant the benefit forthwith. Needless to say, if the orders are adverse to his interest, the same shall contain reasons and the petitioner shall be free to seek legal redress thereupon.
