Present petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for seeking pre-arrest bail to the petitioner, namely Jaspreet Singh alias Peeta in case FIR No. 141 dated 05.07.2016, registered under Section(s) 379-B, 148 & 149 IPC at Police Station Nathana, District Bathinda.
Learned counsel for the petitioner contended that the alleged recovery was effected from co-accused of the petitioner. Having considered the submissions made by learned counsel for the petitioner and the fact that allegations against the petitioner that he was armed with sword along with his co-accused and thereafter, snatched currency notes of Rs.35,000/- along with other documents from the complainant and he is not appearing before the Court or Investigating Agency for a period of over three years. As such, no case is made out to grant the concession of pre-arrest bail to the petitioner and present petition stands dismissed.
