The instant petition has been filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioners in case FIR No.29 dated 10.04.2019 registered under Sections 498-A, 324, 323, 506, 34 IPC (Section 406 IPC added later on) registered at Police Station City Jalalabad, District Fazilka.

By an order dated 13.09.2019, this Court had granted interim bail to the petitioners and directed them to join investigation. 3.

Counsel for the petitioners herein would contend that petitioners are the elder brother and sister-in-law of the husband of the complainant. It is argued that in fact, the instant petition has been rendered infructuous in view of the fact that the matter stands amicably settled between the parties and divorce has already been granted. It is also submitted that the petitioners had joined investigation on 01.02.2020,

CRM-M No.38933 of 2019 (O&M) -2however, did not present themselves pursuant to order dated 06.02.2020 4.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the complainant admits to the factum of compromise and the fact that the divorce has already been granted.

I have heard learned counsel for the parties. 6.

Without going into the merits of the case and in view of the fact that the matter has been settled between the parties amicably and divorce has already been granted, the instant petition is allowed and the order dated 13.09.2019 granting interim bail to the petitioners is made absolute, subject to the conditions laid down in Section 438 (2) Cr.P.C.
