Letters Patent Appeal No.1968 of 2014 (O&M) DATE OF DECISION: 13.01.2015 Ct. Shishpal Belt No.785/Mewat .....Appellant versus State of Haryana and others .....Respondents CORAM:- HON'BLE MR.JUSTICE S.J. VAZIFDAR, ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE AUGUSTINE GEORGE MASIH Present: Mr. Sat Narain Yadav, Advocate for the appellant ..

S.J. VAZIFDAR, ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE (Oral):

CM-4155-LPA-2014:

For the reasons stated in the application, delay of 19 days in re-filing the appeal is condoned.

C.M. stands disposed of.

LPA-1968-2014:

The learned Judge has rightly dismissed the writ petition on the ground of delay. Even assuming that there is any merit in the writ petition, the relief sought cannot be granted not merely on the ground of delay but on the ground that the delay would prejudice various other parties as well. 2.

The petitioner seeks an allotment of more seats in the allotment of B-1 Course for the year 2013 in District Mewat. This would enable him to be deputed for the course. The entire process PARKASH CHAND 2015.01.16 17:12 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document

LPA-1968-2014 - 2 - was over almost two years ago. Granting more seats to one district would involve reducing number of seats in another district. It is not possible at this stage to set the clock back by depriving the other districts of the seats allotted to them. 3.

In the circumstances, the appeal is dismissed. (S.J. VAZIFDAR) ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE 13.01.2015 (AUGUSTINE GEORGE MASIH) parkash* JUDGE PARKASH CHAND 2015.01.16 17:12 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document
