The present Regular Second Appeal is preferred against the judgment and decree dated 01.12.2011 passed by learned Additional District Judge, Faridkot, whereby, appeal filed by the appellant against the judgment and decree dated 20.12.2010 passed by learned Additional Civil Judge (Senior Division), Faridkot, was dismissed.

Learned counsel for the respondents has filed additional affidavit dated 13.02.2025 of Mr. Anoop Chander Sharma, General Manager (Legal/Arbitration), PUNSUP, wherein it has been stated in paragraph 6 that apart from challenging the judgment and decree of the learned Trial Court, the appellant also preferred departmental appeal challenging the punishment order dated 23.07.2010, whereby recovery had been ordered and the VIRENDRA SINGH ADHIKARI 2025.10.18 12:10 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
RSA-2288-2012 (O&M) -2departmental appellate authority set aside the said punishment orders, vide order dated 02.12.2015. The same is taken on record. 3.
In view of the above, learned counsel for the appellant submits that the present appeal has been rendered infructuous. 4.
Consequently, present petition is dismissed as having been rendered as infructuous.
