Learned counsel for the appellants states that the pending enquiry which was noticed by learned Single Judge and which was permitted to be concluded under Rule 2.2(b) of CSR Volume II has since been concluded and the respondent having been held guilty, a recovery of Rs.5,78,874/- has been imposed upon him. She submits that in view of this later development, it would not be necessary to press this appeal on merits as the appellants would calculate the due amount payable to respondent and after adjusting recovery, the balance, if any, shall be reimbursed. Disposed of.
