(Oral) The petitioner has approached this Court assailing order dated 05.06.2025 (Annexure P-10) vide which respondent No.1 has stayed the operation of order dated 30.5.2025 (Annexure P-7). Vide order dated 30.5.2025 (Annexure P-7), the Bar Council Punjab and Haryana (respondent No.2) had ordered for recounting of votes polled during election of President, District Bar Association, Chandigarh. We have heard the learned counsel for the parties. Since, the revision petition against order dated 05.06.2025 (Annexure P-10) is still pending before the Bar Council of India, we deem it MOHAN SINGH 2025.08.07 11:41 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Punjab and Haryana High Court, Chandigarh

CWP-20502-2025 (O&M) - 2 - appropriate to dispose of this petition by issuing a direction to the Bar Council of India to ensure that the revision petition is dealt with expeditiously and is finally disposed off within a period of two weeks from today.

The Bar Council of India shall take necessary steps for ensuring that the requisite record is duly transmitted to it at the earliest. Respondents No.2 and 3 are also directed to ensure that the requisite record is transmitted to respondent No.1 at the earliest. Petitioner-Mandeep Singh, who is present in person, has assured this Court that he shall be present before the Bar Council of India on the date/s as may be fixed and shall either himself argue the case or shall ensure that some other counsel appears on his behalf to argue the matter.
