Learned counsel for the petitioner has confined his submission only for consideration of representation made by the petitioner, copy of which has been placed on file as Annexure P-3. An FIR bearing No.99 dated 11.04.2019 has been registered at Police Station Sadar Amritsar for the offence punishable under Section 22 of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 against the petitioner. She is alleging her false implication and has sought re-investigation of the case through her representation (Annexure P-3) Without expressing any opinion on merits, this petition is disposed of with direction to Commissioner of Police, Amritsar to look into the representation (Annexure P-3) and take appropriate action in accordance with law.

However, it is made clear that the above order will not be interpreted as providing protection to petitioner from any action taken in any civil, criminal or any other proceedings initiated/pending against her in accordance with law.
