Tribhuvan Dahiya, J (Oral) The petition has been filed with a grievance that inspite of having been selected for the post of TGT English (ROH) cadre in response to advertisement 02/2023, the petitioner's name does not figure in the list of candidates selected for provisional appointment vide office order dated 28.07.2024, Annexure P-8.

Learned State counsel on instructions received from the office of second respondent vide memo dated 10.12.2024, contends that the reason for not issuing posting order to the petitioner was an objection about his qualification that he had not studied English in all the three years of B.A. degree course. The matter was accordingly referred for experts opinion to the Kurukshetra University. As per report dated 21.11.2024, received from Assistant Professor, Department of English of the University, the petitioner fulfils the eligibility criteria for the post of TGT English as per Rules. The Department is in the process of issuing posting orders to him, which will be done within two weeks.
