During the existence of this appeal, the parties have settled the matter to agree upon a sum of ` 7,00,000/- to be paid by the appellant to the workman as a full and final settlement of the entire claims inter se between the parties. The appellant has agreed to pay this amount and prays that the judgment dated 28.9.2015, passed by learned Single Judge in view of the settlement, may be set aside to which the respondent has no objection who claims that all his claims against the appellant would stand settled in view of the amount offered by the appellant which he willingly accepted. The statement of the workman to this effect has been recorded separately. The respondent is present in the Court and has candidly accepted the offer. Accordingly, we dispose of the appeal in terms of the settlement by setting aside the impugned judgment of the learned Single Judge and Deepak Kumar Bhardwaj 2017.05.04 12:25 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

Letters Patent Appeal No. 1705 of 2015 (O&M) order that the parties would now be bound by the terms of settlement. The amount of ` 7,00,000/- shall be paid to the workman before the Labour Court, Gurgaon within a period of one month from today, which shall be disbursed to the workman on his making an application to that effect. The learned Labour Court shall ensure proper verification at the time of release of the amount. But it is made clear that once the appellant deposits the amount in the Labour Court, it shall stand liberated from the consequences of the present dispute.
