This petition has been filed under Section 528 of BNSS for for issuance of directions to the respondents No. 1 to 4 to ensure compliance of the directions passed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India in the case titled as "Lalita Kumar Vs. Govt. Of U.P"; to monitor and supervise investigation in the complaint No. 3063-PC-COP dated 20.05.2025 Annexure P-5.

Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the petitioners have preferred a representation/complaint annexed as Annexure P-5 to respondent No.2- Commissioner of Police, Amritsar but no action has been taken so far. Learned counsel submits that he would be satisfied if directions are issued to respondent No.2- Commissioner of Police, Amritsar to look into his representation/complaint and take appropriate steps at the earliest.

I have heard learned counsel for the parties. 6.

Keeping in view the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited prayer made by the petitioners, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2- Commissioner of Police, Amritsar to consider and decide the representation/complaint annexed as Annexure P-5 of the petitioner in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order and pass an appropriate order.
