Thus, counsel for respondents No.1 & 2 submits that present writ petition has been rendered infructuous and no purpose would be served by keeping the same pending.
4.
Counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that he is not in a position to confirm the aforesaid fact, as stated by counsel for respondents No.1 & 2 in Court, therefore, he cannot endorse the same. 5.
Besides above, counsel for respondents No.1 & 2, has also brought to the notice of this Court that the contempt petition bearing COCP1177-2023 (O&M), has also been disposed of having been rendered infructuous, on account of the same fact that the payment of salary has been made to the petitioners. Net generated copy of the order dated 21.08.2023, passed in COCP-1177-2023 (O&M), has been produced in Court. Same is also taken on record, subject to all just exceptions. 6.
In view of above, there is no substance left in the instant writ petition requiring its adjudication. Accordingly, present writ present writ petition is disposed of as having been rendered infructuous. However, liberty is granted to the petitioners to move an appropriate application for revival of present petition, within a period of eight weeks from today i.e. 30.05.2024, in case the assertion of respondents No.1 and 2 is found to be incorrect.
