(ORAL) Through present petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India prayer has been made for issuance of a writ in the nature of Habeas Corpus for release of the detenues mentioned in para No.2 of the writ petition from the illegal custody of privates respondents by appointing a warrant officer.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that at this stage he would be satisfied if the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 - District Magistrate, District Moga, to look into and take action on the issues raised by the petitioner in his representation dated 24.08.2022 (Annexure P-1).

I find the prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioner to be reasonable.

Accordingly, at this stage, without commenting on the merits of the case, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to RAVINDER SINGH 2022.09.29 10:58 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment
