JUSTICE GURVINDER SINGH GILL Present:- Mr. Sumeet Puri, Advocate for the petitioner. ***** GURVINDER SINGH GILL, J.(Oral) The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that she was married to Balram Mahendru and that a male child was also born out of the wedlock. It is alleged that the petitioner's husband and other members of his family, however, used to harass the petitioner in order to press upon their demands of dowry and ultimately threw her out of her matrimonial home. It has further been submitted that the petitioner had submitted an application to the police for taking action against her husband and other members of his family but no action has been taken thereupon and rather she is being threatened by her husband and his family and apprehends threat to her life and liberty at their hands.

Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and while refraining from making any expression on merits of the case or as regards the veracity of allegations, the petition is disposed of with a direction to Pankaj Kakkar 2019.09.17 17:10 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
