SUVIR SEHGAL, J. (Oral) Instant petition has been filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 seeking quashing of FIR No.93 dated 24.11.2015 registered for offences under Sections 406, 498-A of Indian Penal Code, 1860 at Police Station Women, District Amritsar (Annexure P-1) alongwith all consequential proceedings arising therefrom, on the basis of compromise (Annexure P-3).

At the outset, counsel for the petitioners seeks and is granted permission to withdraw the petition with liberty to file a fresh one with better particulars.
