Present petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for issuance of directions to respondent No.4 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner by providing police protection as the same is in danger at the hands of respondents No.5 to 7.

Learned counsel for the petitioner contended that petitioner had filed several complaint against the persons, named in the complaint; they are habitual offenders and involved in a number of cases and more than five FIRs have already been registered against them; earlier, petitioner was provided security in that regard as well and now learned counsel restricted his arguments to the point that representation dated 20.08.2019 (Annexure P5), filed by the petitioner, for providing adequate security is pending with respondent No.4-Additional Director General of Police, Security, Punjab and respondent No.3-Senior Superintendent of Police, Ferozepur, respectively.
