The petitioner through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India is seeking direction to respondents to decide fate of charge-sheet dated 17.02.2023 in a time bound manner. 2.

Counsel for the petitioner submits that during the pendency of instant petition, the respondent has appointed Enquiry Officer. The petitioner has already filed reply to the charge-sheet. The Enquiry Officer called him on 12.03.2025. The pendency of enquiry is adversely affecting his seniority and promotion, thus, respondent may be directed to decide departmental enquiry in a time bound manner.

Mr. Raman Sharma, Addl. A.G., Haryana submits that Enquiry Officer would complete enquiry proceedings within the period as directed by this Court.

In the wake of statement of both sides, the instant petition stands disposed of with a direction to Enquiry Officer to complete the enquiry proceedings expeditiously and preferably within four months from today. It is made clear that petitioner shall not seek adjournment on one ground or another.
