Learned counsel submits that the petitioner is a widow seeking issuance of fresh PPO as well as release of family pension on account of demise of her husband namely Dr. Joginder Pal Chopra, who retired as SMO, with regard to which, a legal notice dated 30.05.2025, Annexure P-3, has been served upon respondents, however, the same has yet not evoked any response. He thus, on instructions prays that a direction may be given to the respondents to decide the same in a time bound manner.

Learned State counsel has no objection to the limited prayer made. 3. In view of the above and without commenting on the merits of the case, this petition is hereby disposed of with a direction to the respondents to decide the legal notice dated 30.05.2025, within a period of 4 months, which this Court has no reason to believe the authorities would not address in a just, fair and reasonable manner.
