Learned counsel for the petitioner confines his submission only for protection of life and liberty of petitioner as he apprehends danger to his life and liberty at the hands of private respondents due to matrimonial dispute with his wife-respondent No.10.

Without expressing any opinion on merits, this petition is disposed of with direction to respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Barnala to look into the grievance of petitioner as stated by learned counsel for petitioner, verify the same and take appropriate action in accordance with law.

However, it is made clear that the above order will not be interpreted as providing protection to petitioner from any action taken in any civil, criminal or any other proceedings initiated/pending against him in accordance with law.
