FAO-3909-2017 Learned counsel for the appellant submits that the limited grievance that he has is that although the objections to the arbitral award were preferred by the respondent in July, 2015, and a reply thereto was filed by the appellant in September, 2015, but the matter continues to await adjudication. In reference to the order dated 22.05.2017, he submits that the matter was adjourned to 24.07.2017 on the request of the counsel for the respondent, but the observation "which is not opposed", is incorrect. For, counsel for the appellant had indeed opposed the adjournment. If that be so, the appellant ought to have moved the same Court that is in seisin of the dispute, by moving an appropriate application, in the first instance. FAO-3909-2017 (O&M) Court shall consider and decide the same in accordance with law. Needless to assert that the Court shall make every endevour to decide the matter as expeditiously as possible.
