This Letters Patent Appeal is directed against the order dated 28.08.2014 whereby the learned Single Judge has dismissed the writ petition filed by the appellant laying challenge to the eviction orders passed against the appellant under the Punjab Public Premises and Land (Eviction & Rent Recovery) Act, 1973.

During the course of hearing, it transpires that similar issue has been dealt with by this Court in a bunch of cases including in LPA No.1827 of 2014 (Surjit Singh vs. State of Punjab & Ors.) decided on 08.04.2015.
