Present petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking issuance of appropriate directions to respondents No.1 to 3 to conduct fair and impartial investigation in case FIR No.85 dated 23.07.2022 registered under Section 302 IPC at Police Station Maloya, Chandigarh. It has further been prayed that the investigation be entrusted to a senior officer not below the rank as sought in the petition. 2.

It is submitted by learned State counsel that in the present case, cancellation report has already been submitted before the competent Court and, therefore, the present petition has been rendered infructuous. 3.

On the other hand, learned counsel for the petitioner has not denied the aforesaid fact.
