Prayer in the present petition is for quashing the FIR No.004 dated 18.01.2016, under Sections 380, 452, 427, 506, 148 IPC, 1860, registered at Police Station Majitha, District Amritsar Rural (Annexure P-1) along with all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom qua the petitioner, on the basis of compromise deed dated 17.08.2024 (Annexure P-2). 2.

Faced with the situation that the present petition has been filed for partial quashing on the basis of compromise apart from the present petitioner, there are other co-accused as well in the FIR in question. Learned counsel for the petitioner prays that he be permitted to withdraw the present petition, with liberty to file comprehensive one while impleading the necessary parties.
