(ORAL) CM-18353-CWP-2021 For the reasons stated in the application, same is allowed and copy of Death Certificate dated 06.07.2018 contained at Annexure P-1 is taken on record, subject to all just exceptions. MAIN CASE Petitioner herein, inter alia, seeks issuance of an appropriate writ directing the respondents for giving employment to the petitioner on compassionate ground, as father of the petitioner namely Jeet Singh, died in harness on 22.06.2018.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner applied for grant of ex-gratia employment and also filed various representations but in vain. Qua his aforesaid grievance, the petitioner SHALINI BHATIA 2021.12.10 13:31 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

submitted legal notice dated 01.11.2021 (Annexures P-8), but yet to no avail. Hence, the instant petition.

Learned State counsel, on advance service, joins proceedings and states that competent authority shall take appropriate decision on the pending legal notice dated 01.11.2021 (Annexures P-8), 4.

At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner also agrees that let a final decision be taken, either way, by the competent authority on the said pending legal notice dated 01.11.2021, giving reasons thereof. 5.

Given the nature of order being passed, there is no necessity to seek return by any of the respondents as no further proceedings and/or pleadings are required.

Without commenting on the merits of the case, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the competent authority to look into the grievance of the petitioner as per legal notice dated 01.11.2021 (Annexures P-8) and also by keeping in view the contention raised in the present petition by treating the same as representation and take a decision, in accordance with law.

Let the needful be done within a period of three months from today.

Disposed of accordingly.
