(ORAL) Present appeal emanates from the order passed by the court below under section 20(3b) of Hindu Adoption and Maintenance Act, 1956 whereby respondent was directed to pay an amount of `3,50,000/- to the petitionerappellant within a period of one month as marriage expenses. On the last date of hearing, both the parties were directed to remain present in court. Learned counsel for the appellant, on instructions, submits that the amount granted by the court below is on the lower side. Same needs to be reasonably considerably enhanced. At the outset, learned counsel for the respondent submits that respondent shall be ready to remit another sum of `2.00 lacs to the appellant within six weeks.

According to him, respondent is working in a private company and is due to retire soon. He would not be able to pay a sum more than this. Counsel for the appellant is satisfied with this statement. In view of above, no further direction is necessary. Appeal is allowed in above terms.
