The challenge in the present petition is to the order dated 11.12.2017 whereby the application filed by the petitioner under Section 311 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (CrPC) was dismissed. 2.

Learned counsel for the State has pointed out that the petitioner in the present case has since been convicted and sentenced and in view thereof the present petition has been rendered infructuous. 3.

In view of the above, the present petition is dismissed as having been rendered infructuous. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed off.
