MANJARI NEHRU KAUL, J. (Oral) Prayer in the present petition is for grant of interim bail for one week to the petitioner for attending the marriage of his sister in case FIR No. 21 dated 08.02.2019 under Sections 22, 61, 85 of the NDPS Act registered at Police Station City Sunam, District Sangrur.

A perusal of Annexure P4, which is an order passed by this court on 15.11.2021 whereby the prayer of the petitioner for interim bail for 02 months was declined, reveals that the petitioner had absconded earlier and as a result of which he had been declared a Proclaimed Offender on 22.11.2019. In view of the above, no ground is made out to accept the prayer of the petitioner for extending the concession of interim bail for one week to attend the marriage of his sister, more so, in the wake of his antecedents. The petition is dismissed.
