(Oral) Prayer in this petition is for issuance of writ in the nature of mandamus for directing respondents No.2 to 5 for protecting the life and liberty of the petitioner as well as his family members from the hands of respondents No.6 to 11 and their other accomplices. The petitioner submits that at this stage, he would be satisfied if direction is issued to respondent No.3-Senior Superintendent of Police, Tarn Taran to consider and take a final decision on representations dated 07.8.2023 and 25.8.2023 (Annexures P-6 and P-7 respectively) made by the petitioner in a time bound manner.

The Lawyers are abstaining from work today.

After hearing the petitioner and without going into the merits of the present petition, the same is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3-Senior Superintendent of Police, Tarn Taran, to forthwith consider the grievance(s) raised by the petitioner in the VIJAY ASIJA 2023.09.27 11:30 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
