(The case has been taken up for hearing through video-conferencing.) **** RAJ MOHAN SINGH, J.(Oral) The petitioner was granted interim bail till 16.12.2019 vide order dated 21.10.2019 passed by this Court. A perusal of the affidavit filed by Gobinder Singh, PPS Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sub Division, Bhawanigarh, District Sangrur would show that FSL report No.2541/2019/Toxi/ Pb dated 02.09.2019 was received in the Court in due course. Even after receipt of FSL report, the petitioner did not surrender and continued to be on interim bail till date. The factum of receipt of FSL report was sought to be ignored. Even the State did not file the exact status despite order dated 16.12.2019 GEETA RANI 2021.08.04 18:26 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

CRM-M No.39433 of 2019 (O&M)  directing the State to file FSL report on the next date of hearing i.e. 10.01.2020. On 10.01.2020, the learned State counsel sought further time to file an affidavit with regard to report received from Forensic Laboratory as well as involvement of the petitioner in any other case (if any). It appears that the petitioner has availed concession of interim bail even after expiry of period.

Faced with this situation, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks to withdraw this petition.
