**** RAJ MOHAN SINGH, J. (Oral) The present writ petition has been filed for issuance of an appropriate writ in the nature of mandamus directing respondents No.1 to 3 to re-install the electricity meter bearing connection account No.3000424120.

Petitioner is the grandson of Harbans Singh in whose name the electricity connection was registered. Electricity meter was removed from the building on account of non-payment of electricity bills. At the time of removal of electricity meter, the premises was lying vacant.

-2According to learned counsel for the petitioner, petitioner was not aware about the arrears of electricity bills and now, he is ready to clear all pending dues of the respondentDepartment including the arrears of bill and compounding fee and will also bear necessary expenditure for re-installation of electricity meter.

Notice of motion was issued on 01.12.2021 by passing the following order:- "The case has been taken up for hearing through video conferencing.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is ready and willing to pay the compounding fee and also to bear necessary expenditure for re-installation of electric meter. Notice of motion for 19.01.2022."

Today, learned counsel for respondents No.2,3 and 5 states that in case the petitioner pays the entire arrears of dues including penalty and compounding fee, the meter shall be reinstalled in the premises of the petitioner forthwith. Since the learned counsel for the petitioner has agreed to pay all the pending dues and other charges, therefore, in view of consensus arrived at between the parties, this petition is disposed of.

-3Petitioner undertakes to pay the entire dues as agreed within a period of one week. On doing so, needful shall be done by the respondents No.2,3 and 5 thereafter at the earliest.
