(ORAL) Prayer in this 1st petition under Section 439 Cr.P.C. is for grant of regular bail to the petitioner in case FIR No. 54 dated 29.03.2024 registered under Sections 363, 366-A, subsequently added Sections 370, 370A, 372, 120-B IPC, 1860 and Sections 3 and 4 of POCSO Act, 2012 registered at Police Station City, Sri Muktsar Sahib, District Sri Muktsar Sahib (Annexure P-1).

Custody certificate dated 02.09.2024 filed in Court today is taken on record, as per which, the petitioner has undergone the custody period of 4 months and 26 days as an undertrial. After arguing for sometime, when this Court is not inclined to accord the benefit of regular bail to the petitioner; learned counsel submits that he may be permitted to withdraw the present petition, at this stage.
