The present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of direction to the official respondents to produce the detenue - Jyoti Rani.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the present petition has been rendered infructuous on account of the fact that the detenue namely Jyoti Rani stands released.
