By way of instant writ petition, petitioners seek challenge to the order passed by the respondents whereby their services as Home Guard stood terminated in the year 2016 without passing any formal orders. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioners herein would contend that petitioner No.1 has put in six years of service and petitioner No.2 had served respondent-Department as Home Guard for more than 20 years. It is further contended that despite the policy to take back persons into employment, who had already put in service, respondents are making fresh employment. Despite representations dated 16.04.2021 (Annexures P-4 & P-5) having been made against wrongful termination of the petitioners and seeking re-employment to the respondents no action has been taken thereon so far.

Without commenting on merits of the case, I dispose of the instant petition by directing the official respondents to consider the representations dated 16.04.2021 (Annexures P-4 & P-5) submitted on behalf of the petitioners and take a decision thereon within a period of two months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order, in accordance with law.
