(ORAL) The petitioners have filed the present petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C., for quashing FIR No. 0006 dated 07.01.2016 (Annexure P-1) registered under Sections 406, 420 and 120-B IPC at Police Station City Sangrur and all the consequential proceedings arising therefrom, on the basis of compromise dated 14.06.2021 (Annexure P-3) effected between the parties.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the matter has been compromised between the parties for a sum of Rs.25,00,000/-. He further submits that the petitioners have made the payment of entire agreed amount to respondent No. 2-complainant and nothing remains due. Learned counsel has filed a copy of demand draft No. 022785 dated 09.02.2023 amounting to Rs.15,00,000/- in favour of respondent No. 2complainant in Court today. The same is taken on record. CRM-M-50927-2021 -2Learned counsel for respondent No. 2-complainant submits that the matter has been compromised between the parties and the entire payment has been received by complainant. Now, nothing remains due towards the petitioners and he has no objection in case the instant petition is allowed and impugned FIR may be quashed.

In view of the above and the fact that the compromise will bring peace and harmony between the parties, aforesaid FIR No. 0006 dated 07.01.2016 (Annexure P-1) and all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom, are quashed, qua petitioners, only. Disposed of, accordingly.
