ARUN MONGA, J. (ORAL) Petitioner herein, inter alia, seeks issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to transfer her from Community Health Centre (CHC), Chautala to General Hospital, Sirsa against vacant post, relying on an office letter bearing memo No. NHM/Admn./Haryana-A11/2021/8991-9013 dated 14.10.2021 (Annexure P7) issued by respondent No.2. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that qua her aforesaid grievance, petitioner submitted various requests (Annexures P-2 to P-4) followed by application for transfer dated 03.11.2021 (Annexure P8)but the same has not been adverted by the respondents till date. Hence, the instant petition.

Learned State counsel, on advance service, appears and submits that competent authority shall take appropriate decision on the pending application dated 03.11.2021 (Annexure P-8).

Given the nature of order being passed, there is no necessity to seek return by any of the respondents as no further proceedings and/or pleadings are required.

Without commenting on the merits of the case, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the competent authority to look into the grievance of the petitioner as per application dated 03.11.2021 (Annexure P8) and also by keeping in view the contentions raised in the present petition by treating the same as supplementary representation and take a decision, in accordance with law.

It is expected of the competent authority to sympathetically look into the mitigating circumstances as enumerated in the petition herein, and if found genuine and given that the petitioner is a female employee, it is very difficult for her to travel such long distance every day, orders be passed accordingly. Total distance back and forth from Sardulgarh to Chautala is stated to be 240-50 kilometres. Appropriate orders be passed, as expeditiously as possible.

Disposed of accordingly.
