*** ANIL KSHETARPAL, J (Oral) The hearing of the case is being held through video conferencing on account of restricted functioning of the Courts. The petitioner is a contractor. It is not in dispute that the petitioner has been paid the principal amount for the work carried out by him. Through this writ petition, the petitioner prays that a direction be issued to the respondents to pay the amount of interest on the delayed payment. In the considered view of the Court, the petitioner has an effective alternative remedy, therefore, the petitioner is relegated to the alternative remedy. Disposed of.
