The petitioner seeks issuance of a writ in the nature of Habeas Corpus seeking release of 13 detenues, whose names are mentioned in para No.4 of the petition, who are stated to be illegally detained by respondent No.4. 2.
Learned counsel for the petitioner has, however, restricted his prayer to the extent of issuance of direction to respondent No.2 - The District Magistrate, Tarn Taran, Punjab.

In view of the above submission made by learned counsel for the petitioner, the instant petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 - The District Magistrate, Tarn Taran, Punjab to look into the matter in accordance with law. In case any representation is moved by the petitioner before respondent No.2 - The District Magistrate, Tarn Taran, Punjab, the same shall be decided expeditiously in accordance with law keeping in view the provisions of Sections 10 and 12 of the Bonded Labour System (Abolition) Act, 1976.
