CORAM:

HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE ANOOP CHITKARA Present:- Mr. Balbir Singh Jaswal, Advocate for the petitioner. Mr. Tanuj Sharma, AAG, Haryana.

FIR No.

Dated Police Station Sections 28.12.2020 Jagadhri City, District 302/379-B IPC and 25/54 Arms Yamuna Nagar Act 1.

The petitioner, in custody upon his arrest in the FIR captioned above, came up before this Court under Section 482 seeking his transfer from District Jail Yamuna Nagar to Central Jail, Amritsar, on the ground that his mother is residing along with her minor daughter at Bagga, and her husband is abroad, and hence, she is unable to visit Yamuna Nagar to meet her son i.e. the petitioner.

2.

The concerned DySP has filed the reply and opposed the transfer. 3.

The prayer for transfer is not per the jail manual. If the petitioner's mother wants to meet her son, it is for her to make arrangements. If she cannot travel alone, she may approach the District Legal Aid services of her district. On such application, one person would be deputed with her to travel to Yamuna Nagar and return. Petition dismissed in aforesaid terms. All pending applications, if any, stand disposed. (ANOOP CHITKARA) JUDGE May 06, 2022 anju rani Whether speaking/reasoned:
