That in compliance to the order of this Hon'ble Court dated 03.02.2022 and 23.02.2022, after harvesting the crops, the demarcation of the land of Phirni comprised in Khasra No.150 and 152 of Village Ahru Kalan District Patiala has been got conducted by Tehsildar Dudhan Sadhan through M/s Khoker Land Survey Agency (Reg.) on dated 18.04.2022 and above 45 residents of Village have been found to be in illegal possession over some portion of Khasra No.150 and 152. True translated copy of demarcation report dated 18.04.2022 is attached herewith as Annexure R-1/T. List of 45 illegal occupants is attached herewith as Annexure R-2/T. 5.

That after conducting the demarcation, the Tehsildar PARAMJIT KAUR SAINI 2022.04.28 10:27 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

Dudhan Sadhan has submitted his report No.51/Reader dated 19.04.2022 to the deponent. True translated copy of report dated 19.04.2022 is attached herewith as Annexure R-3/T. 6.

That after conducting demarcation of Khasra No.150 and 152, an appropriate action has been taken against the illegal occupants by filing petition U/s 7 of Punjab Village Common Land Act, 1961 before the Court of Collector (District Development and Panchayat Officer) Patiala and appropriate further action shall be taken against the illegal occupants in accordance with law."

Learned State counsel, on instructions from Gurmeet Singh, Panchayat Officer, Block Bhunerheri, informs the Court that the proceedings under Section 7 of the Punjab Village Common Land Act, 1961 for eviction of 45 illegal occupants of the Gram Panchayat's land were filed and the case is now fixed for 04.05.2022 for consideration to issue notice to the said respondents.

In the light of the above, the present petition has been rendered infructuous and is disposed of accordingly. However, endeavour be made by the authorities to proceed and decide the matter at the earliest.
