**** AMIT RAWAL, J. (ORAL) Petitioners are seeking indulgence of this Court for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to count ad hoc service from 01.09.1988 to 17.01.2000 towards qualifying service for gratuity, medical leave, earned leave and other service benefits in terms of judgment dated 12.03.2013 passed in CWP No.2866 of 2009 titled as "Vinod Kumar V/s State of Haryana and others" (Annexure P-3) and in this regard, had submitted legal notice dated 28.09.2017 (Annexure P-2), but there is no adherence thereto.

Learned counsel for petitioners submits that he will be satisfied if a direction is issued to respondent No.2, to consider the legal notice dated 28.09.2017 (Annexure P-2), within a stipulated period. Without going into the merits and demerits of the claim of the petitioners, I deem it appropriate to direct respondent No.2 to consider the legal notice dated 28.09.2017 (Annexure P-2), within a period of two

This condition of imposing costs is only to prevent petitioners to run from pillar to post and avail remedy of contempt in case of noncompliance of directions issued by this Court.
