(Oral) Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the respondents have illegally demanded Preferred Location Charges (PLC) which were paid by the petitioner under protest. He submits that a similar petition bearing CWP-97172019 titled Daulat Ram Bhatti Vs. State of Punjab and others, and other connected matters has been allowed on 20.02.2025 whereby the demand raised of additional PLC was quashed and further directions were issued to GMADA for the refund of the amount paid towards PLC by the petitioners therein. Issue notice to the respondents.

Ms. Arundhati Kulshreshtha, AAG Punjab accepts notice on behalf of the respondent No.1. Ms. Karina Kalra, Advocate for Ms. Avin Sandhu, Advocate accepts notice on behalf of the respondents No.2 and 3. Learned counsel for the respondents do not dispute that the petitioner is squarely covered by the judgment in the case of Daulat Ram Bhatti (supra).

The petition stands disposed of in the same terms as the judgment in the case of Daulat Ram Bhatti (supra).
