The instant petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.PC for quashing of FIR No.60 dated 18.07.2018 under Sections 406 and 498-A IPC and Section 3 of Dowry Prohibition Act and Section 313 IPC (added later on) registered at Police Station Sadar Ahmedgarh, District Sangrur (Annexure P-1) on the basis of compromise deed (Annexure P-2) arrived at between the parties.

Vide order dated 20.09.2019 of this Court, the parties were directed to appear before the learned trial Court/Illaqa Magistrate on 22.10.2019 to get their statements recorded regarding the compromise arrived at, between them.

Report dated 02.11.2019 has since been received from the learned JMIC, Malerkotla in pursuance to the direction of this Court.
